Language and Literacy
The term 'language, literacy and numeracy' refers to five core skills; learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy. These five core skills have been identified by the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) as the essential skills for individuals to hold to participate effectively in society including the workplace and the education sector.
Easy HR ensures that all documents are written in plain English, however we are aware that due to the nature of training, some course materials will use industry specific jargon or complex words.
Training environments can often demand particular language, literacy and numeracy skills from participants. These may not necessarily be the same skills that are demanded in the workplace.
There is an expectation that students enrolling in a course have the language and literacy skills to undertake the course in a written format.
If a student is unsure whether they have the appropriate Language Literacy and Numeracy skills, they should contact Easy HR before they enrol in the course.
